One of the most dynamic and innovative faculties of our university, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was established on April 4, 2011, by the Council of Ministers Decision No. 2011/1595.

Our Faculty accepts students in the departments of Economics, Business, Political Science and Public Administration, Banking and Finance, Social Services, Finance and Health Management. With the optional English Preparatory Program, we support the foreign language development of our students who prefer our Faculty. In addition, with Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana student exchange programs, we also offer our students the opportunity to study at different universities in the country and abroad.

On the other hand, with the student communities located in our Faculty, educational and cultural trips are made, conferences are organized academically, and opportunities are provided for our students to develop their self-confidence and gain social responsibility.

Although newly established, our Faculty, which has a very young and dynamic staff, is becoming richer with our expert and equipped faculty members every day. In the courses, care is taken to integrate theory with practice through student-centered approaches, and also, emphasis is given to sectoral applications.

Our basic principles that we observe while offering all these opportunities to our students;

Burdur, where our Faculty is located, which has geographical and historical beauties, has become a more livable cultural city with our University bearing the name of our national poet. Our University, which is also in a good position in terms of transportation facilities, is rapidly developing on the way to becoming a large campus university, showing rapid progress in its efforts to enter among the leading universities of our country.
